I also volunteered to teach high school students who are part of the Y4Y programme on Radio Grahamstown. In doing so, we had to teach and assist students in producing a 50 to 60 second clip about something which adults just don’t understand about the youth. My group won the task. Currently, I am a second year radio journalism tutor. This work has been rewarding as I have helped others develop the necessary skills in the production of packages and live shows. I have taught students how to use equipment as well as develop the necessary communication skills in the process of interviewing individuals.
